Hi fellow coeliacs and gluten free eaters, Andy and Mel from Gluten Free Nomad here! Our story begins with Andy being diagnosed with coeliac disease (5+ years ago) at 28 years old – not having any family or friends knowing about coeliac disease, he had to make some big changes when it came to food and eating out.
We know how challenging it can be to find gluten free options, especially for those without a strong support system. Having been fortunate enough to travel, we wanted to empower others with coeliac disease or those following a gluten free lifestyle to feel secure and never feel like they were missing out. That vision led to the creation of Gluten Free Nomad.
Our mission is to empower the gluten-free community to feel confident, safe, and included, whether dining out or cooking at home, without ever feeling like they’re being held back. We strive to create a space that breaks the stigma around eating gluten-free and empowers you to embrace these needs with confidence and pride.
