We are delighted to have SMEG as our Kitchen Sponsor at our gluten-free expo in Melbourne, the renowned Italian home appliance manufacturer.

This collaboration will deliver engaging cooking demonstrations and presentations from talented SMEG Chefs Cassandra Young and Imelda Murphy, taking place in custom made SMEG kitchens for use across both the 3^rd and the 4^th of May.

Colour, design and technology, SMEG has designed innovative household appliances for all everyday environments since 1948. The headquarters are situated in Guastalla, in Emilia Romagna, an outpost for a long view over the countryside from the river Po. Passion for research begins here. In the field of aromatic essences delimited by a perimeter of four thousand poplars, technological innovation comes together with quality culture for an all-Italian household appliance manufacturing activity.  

Imelda joined Smeg in 2005 as a Chef Demonstrator, where she became involved in a variety of key events such as trade nights, food and wine festivals at the Langham in Southbank, and demonstrating cooking appliances for multiple brands at the Exhibition Buildings in Carlton. Imelda will lead hands-on cooking presentations at the Gluten Free Lifestyle Show, demonstrating the full range of SMEG appliances to create delicious gluten-free dishes.

Joining Imelda is Cassandra Young, an experienced professional SMEG chef with a diverse background in culinary and kitchen appliance industries. Cassandra has had the opportunity to travel across Australia, demonstrating and training at major events such as the Good Food & Wine Show, Meatstock, and Flower & Garden Shows.
