The Deakin Waterfront (Geelong) is located approximately 400 metres from the Geelong train station. V/Line trains operate throughout the day on the Geelong–Melbourne line and take just over an hour from the Melbourne CBD. The main bus interchange is located in Moorabool St – 700 metres from campus. However, there are a number of bus stops close by depending on your route.

Public parking is available along Cunningham Pier. Car park 2 (multideck) and car park 3 (open-air) are both located on Smythe Street. You will require a parking permit to park on campus.
